Ngā mihi nui ki a tātou katoa i tēnei wā o Hineraumati ☀️

We were pleased to welcome Hannah Aronson to the Pūrangakura whānau on January 12th, marking the beginning of her time with us as part of the Wai Ora Kāinga Ora graduate internship programme.

Hannah joins Pūrangakura from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she is completing a Masters in Urban Studies and City Planning. Her internship is generously supported by MIT International Science & Technology Initiatives (MISTI) and complements her studies by providing opportunities to deepen her understanding of kaupapa Māori and community-led research approaches.

During her time with Pūrangakura, Hannah will contribute to the Wai Ora Kāinga Ora project, supporting kaupapa focused on kāinga, wellbeing and whānau aspirations. She brings thoughtful insight, strong research capability and a genuine commitment to learning alongside our team and communities.

We are grateful for the opportunity to host Hannah and look forward to the shared learning, relationships and mahi ahead!
